ServiceMaster was called out to a New Milford business following a broken sprinkler line. Water had migrated throughout several rooms in the building leaving our customer deeply concerned about potential mold growth. 

Technicians began by extracting standing water from the floors, isolating the affected rooms, and protecting all contents within the space. Once the work zone was secured and protected, non-salvageable materials were removed in order to dry out the framing components. This was followed by an anti-microbial treatment to ensure no areas were left with conditions inducive to mold growth.

Our crew promptly began the process of inventorying a very large amount of affected contents within their showroom.  This included the disposal of non-salvageable items as well as relocating unaffected inventory into provided storage units for safe keeping.  Once the contents were meticulously sorted and stored our crew preformed extensive cleaning and deodorizing.

ServiceMaster was contacted by a Thomaston family for a local man suffering from a hoarding disorder.

Upon inspecting the home, we observed rooms that we completely overloaded with contents.  The utilities were nonfunctional and the home was inhabitable.

We provided full hoarding clean up services including sorting and organizing all contents as well as disposing of items that were unfortunately non-salvageable into dumpsters that we were able to supply.

Once the homeowner's contents were carefully and respectfully removed our crew was able to move forward with the cleaning and disinfecting phase in preparation for repairs and remodeling.
